Paint your nails Pink!

My sister Sariah just had her little guy yesterday at 4:07pm, his name is Conner David, he weighed 7lbs 3 oz and was 20 1/2 in. For those of you that don't know he has a heart defect called Pulminary Atresia: This is where the heart is missing the pulmonary valve and sometimes missing the actual pulmonary artery. This artery is what takes blood down to the lungs. He also has ventricular septal defect, which is a hole between the lower chambers. Anyway, back to the title of my post, she had a friend give her some pink fingernail polish to wear to remind her that people are praying for her and her little man. My mom painted Sariah's toenails before she went to the hospital to have him and my mom called them 'Pink Prayer Toes.' So we decided that we would put a post out for everyone that wants to, to paint their toes or fingernails pink to remind them everytime they see that pink to pray for my little nephew and his family at this hard time in their lives. I am going to go get my polish out right now :) If you want to follow her blog and see what the latest is here is a link to her blog: Updates of Conner

I'm so glad to hear about Sariah and her little guy! Hope everything goes as planned for them in the next couple of weeks. I will get my polish out! Glad your home and doing great! Hope Carsten's lungs remain healthy and strong!
Cute babies. I hope everything goes good, it is sooo scary having a baby with medical problems. Your baby looks just like your other kids. I am so jealous of all the hair. Mine never have hair. By the way how much did Carsten weigh?

Oh he is precious. I love the name Connor too...we called Weston that a few times before we finally settled on a name for him! I haven't gotten down to your post about your baby yet but I am excited to read it. I will be painting my nails pink as soon as I can and praying for that sweet little boy and his family too.
