My sister Sariah just had her little guy yesterday at 4:07pm, his name is Conner David, he weighed 7lbs 3 oz and was 20 1/2 in. For those of you that don't know he has a heart defect called Pulminary Atresia: This is where the heart is missing the pulmonary valve and sometimes missing the actual pulmonary artery. This artery is what takes blood down to the lungs. He also has ventricular septal defect, which is a hole between the lower chambers. Anyway, back to the title of my post, she had a friend give her some pink fingernail polish to wear to remind her that people are praying for her and her little man. My mom painted Sariah's toenails before she went to the hospital to have him and my mom called them 'Pink Prayer Toes.' So we decided that we would put a post out for everyone that wants to, to paint their toes or fingernails pink to remind them everytime they see that pink to pray for my little nephew and his family at this hard time in their lives.
